Privacy Policy

How Sweeply handles your data

Sweeply is a photo and video cleanup app for iPhone. This policy explains, in plain language, what Sweeply does and does not do with your data. The short version: your photos and videos never leave your device, and Sweeply has no servers of its own that receive your personal content.

Last updated: 5 July 2026

Your photos and videos stay on your device

Sweeply uses Apple's Photos framework (PhotoKit) to show you the photos and videos already in your library so you can swipe through them and decide what to keep or delete. All of this happens entirely on your device:

Sweeply has no backend, no analytics SDK, and no advertising SDK. It does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across apps or websites.

What data we handle and where it is stored

Purchases (Sweeply+)

Sweeply offers an optional subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase ("Sweeply+"). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. To manage entitlements and restore purchases, Sweeply uses RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-infrastructure provider.

This purchase data is used only to determine whether you have an active Sweeply+ entitlement and to let you restore purchases on your devices. It is not used for advertising or tracking.

Data we do not collect

Sweeply does not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, browsing or search history, health data, the contents of your photos or videos, or any advertising/tracking identifiers.

Children

Sweeply is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
